Mon, March 14, 2005 - 4:29 PMHey everybody, I am a newbee and backpacked through Morroco last year starting in the gorgeous Rif Mountains.
I t was so very beautiful, different, exciting.
It was a smell adventure on one of these colorfulspice markets, pure and awesome nature in the Rif, desert..
Loved Marrakesh most, but it is so great there because it is very different to everything I knew before.
People there really know what hospitality is if you get to know them.
Since my Morocco journey I cannot live without the Mint tea anymore.Yummmm
This market place in Marrakesh...still dreamin about it... -

Re: morocco rocks
Mon, March 14, 2005 - 5:18 PMmarrakesh is definitely magical, and i'm sure will continue that way for many years to come. the street market (the square) is a very mediterranean style thing, and people from other cultures will usually awe at it. marrakesh happens to be one of the liviest in the world.
peace.
