My mom, less than a week into her month-long dream trip to Morocco, tripped while getting off a bus and broke one of her vertebrae. She is in a hospital in Casablanca, sounds great, and is awaiting med-evac back home for surgery. Hopefully this will happen very soon.
Meanwhile, she is running out of stuff to read. If anyone is in Casablanca and feels like trading some books with her, or even just picking up any english-language newspaper and bringing it over, I'd love to hear from you.
