hi zafira
if you or any of your friends want to rend a nice old riad in essaouira, i have one available. i cannot make it for the gnaouaa festival this year, unfortunately, so i will rent my house out. it sleeps 10!! The price is $250 a night for five nights minimum (during the festival). Other than during the festival the price is $200 a night for the whole house.
In Fes? Try Dar Bouanania.....cheap, easy to find and right in the coolest part of the Medina. Safe and clean too!

It'll be warm at that time of year but you don't need anything special. Don't show off too much flesh, though, as it's a bit against the local culture.

What to wear? IMHO, you can buy what you need in Morocco, so just bring something for the plane and maybe one clean change. The clothes in Morocco are great and pretty cheap, especially if you're going to Marrakesh (because of Djema el Fna). Fez should have some great shopping too, though.

Places to stay? Go buy a Let's Go Guide (generally good info).
